Jambu, officially Jambudvīp[1] (Hinduki: जम्बुद्वीप), is a country in southern Asia encompassing much of the northern half of the Indian subcontinent. It was established in 1944 after the collapse of British authority in the region after the Great War. Saket, a planned city on the Yamuna river, has been the capital of the country since 1963. Jambu borders eight other states and has significant coastlines on the Bay of Bengal and the Sindh Sea.
