Tibet (Tibetan: བོད Bod, Chinese: 土番) is a country in Inner Asia consisting of three historic regions - Ü-Tsang, Amdo, and Kham. It is bordered by China to the east, Turkestan to the west, Serindia to the north, and various Indian states to the south. The tallest mountain in the world, Komolangma, is located in Tibet.
