Tibet (Tibetan: བོད Bod, Chinese: 土番) is a country in Inner Asia consisting of three historic regions - Ü-Tsang, Amdo, and Kham. It is bordered by China to the east, Turkestan to the west, Serindia to the north, and various Indian states to the south.
