The Taelkomisie (Amerikaens: [tɔːl.komisi]) is the principal regulatory institution for the Amerikaens language. As of 1980, its supreme authority over the language's affairs is officially recognized by all members of the Association of North American Nations, Boschland, and Saint-Domingue; however, de facto adherence to the Taelkomisie's phonetic and orthographic codices varies by region.
