Aotearoa, officially the Kingdom of Aotearoa (Maori: Te Rangatiratanga o'Aotearoa, French: Royaume d'Âotearoa) is an island nation located in Polynesia. Originally settled by Maori in the 14th century, the Confederation was established in 1842, shortly followed by the instatement of the House of Hine in 1844 with French support.
