Sardinia (Campidanese Sardinian: Sardìgna),officially the Kingdom of Sardinia, is a country in Southern Europe. It is located entirely in the island of Sardinia and the neighboring archipelago.
History
The history of Sardinia in the Modern era was characterized by three centuries of Spanish rule, until March 1700, when the Spanish territories of Milan and Sardinia were handed to the Kingdom of France.
