Its maritime border is the strait of Malacca while to the east, north & south it is completely surrounded by the Malayonesian Federation. The countries territory is largely composed of the traditional Malakkan sultanate plus additions gained during the chaotic war for Malakkan Independence in the late 1970s. It is one of the most densely populated nations in the world with roughly 7 million people in an area that is roughly 1600 square kilometers. Malakka is unique in that it was founded as a defactode facto Malayan Chinese enclave and as such is radically different from the rest of the peninsula. This unique situation combined with the countries early history and siege mentality has led to a unique nation that is a blend of Chinese, Dutch and some Malaysian influences.
