Mátyás Novák (German: Matthias Nowak, 8 December 1894 - 3 March 1961) was a General of the Army of Magyaria who played a pivotal role in the Magyar War of Independence during the Alföld Campaign. After the war Novák was recognised as a war hero and continued his military career, while also being a strong influence on Magyarian politics and society.
