Jonkman Enterprises

Jonkman Enterprises, Inc., also known as Jonkcorp and De Jonkman Groep, is a Nieuw Nederlandt multinational conglomerate headquartered in Staten Eiland in the Jonkman quarter, Nieuw Amsterdam. It comprises numerous affiliated businesses, most of them united under the Jonkman brand, and is the largest Nieuw Nederlandt familie-bedrijf (business conglomerate).

Jonkman was founded by Cornelis Jonkman in 17th century as a merchant house. Over the three centuries, the merchant house diversified into areas including food processing, textiles, insurance, securities, and retail. It expanded its presesence through Nieuw Nederlandt through the 1700s where it became one of the largest merchant houses/companies in the nation. Since 1853 under Jan Anne Jonkman the merchant house expanded its business into shipping, railroads and textiles these areas would drive its subsequent growth. When the industrial revolution reached Nieuw Nederlandt it fueled the Jonkman Groep (as it was then known) to become a powerhouse as it with its railroad network was able to aid in the industrialization of Nieuw Nederlandt. Into the 20th century the company expanded its operations into electronics, manufacturing, aerospace engineering, shipbuilding, chemicals and so on becoming the largest provider of jobs in Nieuw Nederlandt by 1963 through its many subsidiaries. Since 1990, Jonkman has increasingly globalized its activities and electronics; in particular, its mobile phones and semiconductors have become its most important source of income.

Notable Jonkman industrial affiliates include Jonkman Electronics (the world's largest information technology company, consumer electronics maker and chipmaker measured by 2017 revenues), Jonkman Heavy Industries (the world's 2nd largest shipbuilder measured by 2010 revenues), Jonkman Aerospace (the largest Aerospace company in ANAN) and Jonkman Engineering and Jonkman C&T Corporation (respectively the world's 13th and 36th largest construction companies). Other notable subsidiaries include Jonkman Life Insurance (the world's 14th largest life insurance company), Jonkman music (a large holding corporation which owns many record companies) and Jonkman entertainment (the 2nd largest producer of television content in the America's).

Jonkman has a powerful influence on Nieuw Nederlandt her economic development, politics, media and culture in the 20th centuries. Its affiliate companies produce around a fifth of Nieuw Nederlandt her total exports. Jonkman her revenue is estimated to be around 14% of Nieuw Nederlandt her GDP.
