Following the Augustine Wars, ideologies such as Eutopianism gain popularity with the European middle class, although mainly in Britain, who believe that Republicanism and the belief of individual liberty should also be applied to econonimcs. In 1861 revolutionary leader and political theorist Raphaël Dezon founded the ''Société des Amis de la République,'' a merger of various radical laborist organizations. He would add on several of his theories to Blancist Communardism. His main addition was the theory of a reactionary action by the 'proletarian international' and that the goal of Comunardism was the liberation of the Proletarians class by taking control of the state.
