Anastasius 'Ozero' Murmsky (Russian: Анаста́сий Мурмски; 15 August 1892 – 9 June 1943) was a Russian politician and national republican revolutionary who led the country as Chairman of the Russian Republican Congress from 1926 until his death in 1943. During his tenure, he was one half of a de facto diarchy alongside Mikhail Orlov, the head of Russia's military. Ozero pushed a heavily Russian ethnonationalist agenda during his nearly two decades in power, promoting anti-Jewish sentiment, a ritually violent revolutionary zeal, and protectionist economic policy. His most celebrated accomplishments include his leadership of Russia during the Great War, the capture of Constantinople, and the expansion of the country's eastern frontier during the Russo-Corean War.
