The Peerage of Osmania (Ottoman: نجابت عثمانيه, Nedšabet-i ʿOsmânîjje) consists of a collection of hereditary titles and ranks established by Emperor Abdülkarem in the aftermath of the Congress of Amsterdam in 1939. Modeled on British and Portuguese systems, it brought together various notables and elites of the Ottoman Empire under a single corporate noble estate. The institution of Ottoman nobility is governed by the Imperial Patrician Association, which is headed by a member of the Ottoman dynasty, typically a close male or female relative of the monarch.
